Construction Technology for the Traction of Main Cable Strand of Yuzui Yangtze River Bridge

摘要

Abstract

The Yuzui Yangtze River Bridge is a suspension bridge with steel box girder and a main span of 616 meters, located in Chongqing. In order to solve the construction problem during the traction of the main cable under the steep terrain condition on both sides of the river, this study compared different kinds of traction methods with each other, and then a traction system of large plane circulation was adopted to do the traction of the main cable strand. It was the first time in China to use this kind of traction system, with which the construction task was completed successfully and effectively. In addition, about this traction system used in the traction of main cable strand of the Yuzui Yangtze River Bridge, this study briefly introduced the scheme selection, layout pattern and the equipment configuration, also summarized the application experience.
