摘要

Abstract

The strength performance of pure sand and cement-improved silty sand is studied with unconfined compressive strength test, direct shear test and triaxial compression test. The test results show that the silty sand has certain cohesion, the best content of cement is 3. 5%; silty sand mixed with cement increases mainly the cohesion and influences less obviously the internal friction angle and the strength of cement-improved silty sand increases with curing age prolonged.
