Abstract

The line-bridge-pier integration model of continuous welded rail is established based on the beam-track interaction principle. Then the limits of longitudinal horizontal stiffness of single continuous beam piers are studied with the main bridge equipped with small resistance fasteners. The results show that:when the main bridge is laid with small resistance fasteners, the maximal value of additional rail expansion and contraction force approximately demonstrate linear relationship with the value of expansion length of continuous beam and the value of stiffness of continuous beam pier; stability of the track structure and rail joints do not produce controlling effect on the limits of pier stiffness, it is controlled only by the strength of rail;the limits of pier stiffness and temperature range are approximately turn to be in linear relation when the temperature range of continuous beam is little bigger. For 240 m of the temperature range, when the rail temperature is in the range of 50 ℃、40 ℃ and 30 ℃, the limits of stiffness of fixes steady pier of continuous beam bridge are 1282 , 522 and 226 kN/( cm · line ) respectively.
