Abstract
The minimum curve radius is one of the main technical standards in railway line design, which directly affects the safety of railway transportation, the project investment, the operation and maintenance. With reference to Shanxi Zhongqiang special railway line and in view of the terrain conditions and heavy haul requirements of the project, this paper analyzes comprehensively the transportation safety, project investment, operation and maintenance and determines the principles for design of radius of Shanxi Zhongqiang special railway line on the basis of the settings of minimum curve radius and operation conditions of existing heavy haul railway lines such as Ningwu-Kelan railway line and Pingshuo railway line in the mass transit system of Dalian-Qinhuangdao railway, and Shenshuo railway. Thus the reasonable and economical minimum curve radius should be 400m.关键词
