Abstract
In order to ensure the benefit of high-speed railways and meet the demand of regional urban transportation, the projects to allow existing railway lines to run multiple unit trains are in a rise. Thus, the setup of CTCS level transition point becomes a subject in the design. With reference to the implementation of existing railway additional second-line of Jining-Baotou CTCS-2 train control system renovation project, the issue of CTCS-0 to CTCS-2 level transition point setup is addressed according to the actual situation, and the conclusion shows that the factors of operating speed and braking distance should be considered on the premise of meeting the demand of railway line transportation mode as well as improving the railway transport capacity as far as possible in CTCS level transition point setup scheme.关键词
