Application of wool supported bimetal complexes for decoloration and recycling of reactive dyed wastewater

Abstract
In order to improve the catalytic performance, the wool supported copper-iron bimetal complexes were prepared by adding copper ion in the wool supported iron conplex, and the effect of copper ion on the catalytic performance of wool supported copper-iron bimetal complexes was examined. Then the pseudo first-order kinetic model was employed to fit the experimental data. Finally, the dyeing wastewater after decoloration was reused for the coloration of cotton fabrics by reactive dyes. The results indicated that wool supported copper-iron bimetal complexes exhibited the higher catalytic performance in the presence of copper ions. The reactive dyes exhibited good dyeing capacity for cotton fabrics in the dyeing wastewater after decoloration .关键词
