Abstract
The TEOS/GA hybrid cross-linked modified polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) membrane was prepared as the anion exchange membrane of alkaline direct ethanol fuel cell (ADEFC). The swelling ratio, moisture content, ethanol permeability and conductivity of PVA/TEOS/GA hybrid membrane at different ratio of SiO2 to PVA were investigated. The results showed that moisture content, swelling ratio and ethanol permeability of the hybrid membrane decreased with increasing of SiO2 content. At room temperature, the hybrid membrane with SiO2 content of 10%!had a low welling ratio (102%) and an ethanol permeability of 1.222 × 10-8 cm2/s, and the conductivity of 6.883 × 10-3 S/cm.关键词
