Abstract

The MnOx/Ti eletrocatalytic membrane was prepared via a dip-coating method. The MnOx/Ti eletrocatalytic mem-brane reactor assembled by the MnOx/Ti eletrocatalytic membrane as the anode and a stainless steel mesh as the cathode was employed for oxidation of cyclohexane to produce cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol. The electro-chemical performance of MnOx/Ti membrane and the effects of the different operation parameters on cyclohexane conversion and selectivity to cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone were investigated. Results indicate that the electro-chemical performance of MnOx/Ti membrane was improved significantly compared with Ti membrane; 12.5 %! conversion of cyclohexane, 38.7%!selectivity to cyclohexanol and 50.1%!selectivity to cyclohexanone were ob-tained under the operating conditions of residence time of 34.3 min, cyclohexane concentration of 10 mmol/L and current density of 2.9 mA/cm2.
