摘要

Abstract

Absorbance of different concentrations of Fe2+,Fe3+ and H2O2 was investigated individually by using UV-Visible spectrophotometer without separating the substances in the solution. With the changes of UV-Vis spectra of the mixture of these three substances throughout the whole reaction,the law of complex formation was studied. The result shows that iron-based complex is found without substrate in Fenton reaction,which has great absorbance across the entire band(190-500,nm)examined. Thus the existence of complex in Fenton oxidation process is verified. Its concentration varies with the change of concentration of hydrogen peroxide.This research has provided a strong foundation for further studiesof the reaction mechanism of hydroxyl radical in Fenton oxidation process.
