摘要

Abstract

The quality testing of the inner wall of the metal cans was studied,a detecting system of metal cans’ inner wall based on machine vision was developed by using of Visual Studio 2010,and the detecting system can realize the automatic detection of defects in the inner wall of the metal cans. According to the particularity of the inner wall of metal cans,red dome lights and numeric camera were used to capture images.The study includes image acquisition,image processing, testing region location and defect detection.The metal pot,inner wall and welding parts can be detected by mean of suitable image processing algorithm.Then the detecting speed was optimized by using multi-threading technology. Experiments show that for the chosen metal can,the speed of the defect detecting system can reach 600 per minute,which can meet the high speed demand of production lines.
