The Diplomatic Strategy of China to Develop the Relations with South Pacific Region
摘要
Abstract
South Pacific belongs to China's greater periphery.A good South Pacific environment thereby is an important part of China's diplomatic strategy.Considering the unique characteristics of the South Pacific diplomatic environment and the China-South Pacific relations,China should adhere to the strategic posi-tioning of the South Pacific as economic partnership,political backing and security guarantee,and seize the common needs and desire for cooperation of the two sides,and promote the bilateral relations through a vari-ety of ways.Despite the development of the relations between China and South Pacific countries has been affected by some internal and external factors,with the further economic and social development of China and the South Pacific region,the positions of the two parties in their respective foreign strategies will contin-ue to improve,so as to create broader space for sustained,stable and in-depth development of the bilater-al relations.关键词
