摘要
Abstract
Niue is now facing serious social,cultural and identity problems while changing gradually from a closed but independent nation to an extension of Western culture which is represented by New Zealand. With the dynamic change of cultural values,many Niueans emigrate overseas,and the number of people who choose to stay at homeland has been shrinking dramatically.However,local and overseas Niueans are all experiencing unprecedented cultural and identity loss,which results in a sense of national inferiority. Confronting the shortage of natural resources,isolated geographical location,and frequent natural disasters, Niue's existence and development is at the mercy of the aids from various international organizations,but these aids will unavoidably deepen Niueans' sense of cultural loss and national inferiority.关键词
