摘要

Abstract

The effect of alkali metal ions such as Na+ on the methanol to propylene (MTP) catalyst in practical industrial application was investigated. The fresh catalyst and the catalyst used for 5000 hours in industrial plant were characterized by XRD, EDS, NH3-TPD, TG and XRF, and their catalytic activities were further investigated. The results showed that alkali metal ions such as Na+ could be enriched on the surface of the catalyst and substitute for the position of the proton H of ZSM-5, which resulted in deactivation of catalyst due to the loss of active sites. Through technical revamp to control the mass fraction of Na+in process steam to below 200×10-9, the adverse effects of Na+on the catalyst could be reduced substantially.
