基于SOA中XGM效应的超宽带PAM技术的研究

摘要
Abstract
In this paper,an improved UWB Pulse Amplitude Modulation ( PAM) scheme based on cross-gain modulation ( XGM) in SOA is presented,and use the software of Optisystem7. 0 to simulate. The influence of source power,modulation rate and source wave-length on the PAM signal is firstly investigated,and the results show that by appropriately setting light source power and modulation rate, the scheme can generate better PAM signal and is not sensitive to light wavelength change. In addition,the transmission characteristics of PAM signal in the optical fiber are analyzed,and the results show that modulation signal in PAM formats is greatly influenced by the dis-persion and attenuation,and the transmission distance is short.关键词
