Abstract
The Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee points out that the general purpose of deepe-ning its all round reform is to improve and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics and push on with modernization of the country’s governing system and capabilities.The choice of governing system is made by the people according to the his-tory,cultural tradition,and social and economic development level.So we can say that the development and innovation of governing idea should be combined with Chinese traditional philosophy and culture.We should draw lessons from the Confu-cian governing idea and clarify its theoretical basis,which is useful for the modernization of China’s current governing sys-tem.In terms of social governance,Confucianism contains abundant concepts,whose mainly contains three aspects:the theory of human nature is the philosophical basis of the Confucian governing ideas;the people centered theory is the core val-ue of the Confucian governing ideas;the doctrine of the mean is the thinking method of the Confucian governing ideas.关键词
