Abstract
Criticism may threaten listener ’ s face, and the application of some politeness strategies can save listener ’ s face. This paper reviews the studies about criticism speech act and response abroad and at home , including criticism strategy , influencing factors and response strategy , in hope of helping communicators to understand criticism speech act better and use it smoothly .关键词
