Weidi Emperor’ s Assessment of the Situation and Political Reform in Han Dynasty
摘要
Abstract
At the beginning of Weidi Emperor’ s period of Han dynasty, he had an iron hand in a velvet glove and controlled the army.Hence, in his period there were no powerful ministers in power; Southern Yue Kingdom being subjective to the central government and Xiongnu ceased to fight with Han dynasty.He concerned about his people’ s life and was thrifty, which was his foun-dation to be the powerful nation.His decisions were not dictatorial, but he established the system of recommending the persons of talents and virtue.His assessment of the situation and political reform brought Han dynasty the war ruined into the prime of period of Wen and Ding Emperors.关键词
