Binding and Anti-binding to Cultural Elements in Drama Translation based on a Study of the English Version of Teahouse by Ying Ruocheng
摘要
Abstract
In drama translation, both the original culture and the target culture exert a profound influence on translating.Ac-cording to the Skopos theory, the translator chooses binding or anti-binding to deal with cultural elements in order to realize the translation purpose.Anti-binding is more preferred in drama translation if the drama is translated for stage performance.Besides, binding and anti-binding are not isolated and they are dialectical.关键词
