文化视域下英汉时间的隐喻研究
The Study on English and Chinese Temporal Metaphors from a Cultural Perspective

Abstract
Metaphor is an essential character of the language and also the mean by which man perceives the world.As one of the significant language phenomena, temporal metaphors conceive a lot of cultural information.There are quite a few temporal meta-phors in both Chinese and English, and they have some similarities and differences.Based on the theories of metaphor, the paper has a comparative study of the similarities and differences between English and Chinese temporal metaphors.And finally the paper explores the cultural causes of Chinese and English metaphors, which helps language learners understand the connotation of temporal metaphors exactly and have an effective communication.关键词
