摘要
Abstract
Hu Shi’ s attitude had a significant change about the May 4th Movement.He praised and showed sympathy in his early life, but later he harshly criticized.He thought that the May 4th outbreak was due to Chinese government diplomatic failure, and it’ s related to Peking university students to celebrate the end of the First World War.The May 4th value lied in the formation of the independent personality, and became the main thrust of social development.Hu Shi didn’ t study May 4th Movement systemical-ly, but what he said had a lot of inspiration significance for the later scholars.关键词
