Abstract

Controlling of water level is the main part of process control tests, so a cascade control system of double water-tanks is designed based on self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller for its water-level. Main courses of fuzzy controller are fuzzy, reasoning and intensification. The 49 rules of fuzzy system and subordinate degree function are adopted for a fuzzy PID controller that has double input and three outputs and has been adapted in fuzzy system editor. Then, a simulation module of self-adaptive water-lever control-ling is built on fuzzy PID controller in SIMULINK. In the course of simulation, parameters of PID algorithm are set by mean of trial and error. Based on the characters of static and dynamic courses, it shows the fuzzy PID algorithm has better static and dynamic characteristics than PID algorithm for water-level control system.
