Abstract
Petroleum geology and favorable exploration zones in Western Weixinan sag are analyzed by comprehensively u-sing drilling,seismic,and geochemical data,based on regional tectonic evolution and sedimentary fillings.In this area,The Paleogene Liushagang formation is the dominant source rock and four sets of Paleogene reservoir-seal assemblage.The traps are mainly faulted nose,faulted block and structure-formation complex traps.The primary time of hydrocarbon expulsion of the source rocks is matching with which of traps formed.There are two accumulation types between upper and lower of the o-verpressure interface in the Paleogene Liushagang formation,which is auto-product and auto-reservoir migrates toward the sides ,the other model which is lower product and upside reservoir migrates vertically.Time and space conditions are favorable in accumulation.There are two favorable exploration zones in Western Weixinan sag,which are the fault steep slope belt and the structure-formation complex traps of gentle slope belt near deep depression.关键词
