摘要

Abstract

Based on considerations of antenna miniaturization, a compact and differential microstrip antenna is designed for WLAN802�11b (2�4~2�48 GHz).By using differential⁃feed technique,this antenna can be connected to differential chips seamlessly. Moreover,owing to the introduction of slots on the microstrip patch,the size of antenna is reduced by 33% approximately compared with traditional differential microstrip antenna. The numerical analysis by the simulation software HFSS shows that the antenna operates at 2�45 GHz,the gain is 7�15 dB and the return loss is-16�6 dB.With all these good features,this antenna is promising in WLAN appli⁃cations.
