摘要

Abstract

Current spinning break detection methods used in modern spinning industry have the problems of low detection efficiency, poor versatility and expensive. To solve these problems, a video-based system for break detection is proposed in this paper. The system is based on TMS320DM642 platform. Part of the acquired images is processed and the total number of lines in the partial area is counted. Lastly, according to the comprehensive criterion, a decision is proposed to detect the spinning break. The experiment results show that the video-based system for break detection posed in this paper is of good reliability , high efficiency, good real-time performance and good versatility in inspection process.
