摘要

Abstract

Based on the pseudo-static experimental results of 1/3 reduced scale model portal frame with tapered members,a finite element analysis is made of the full-size structure to obtain the load-displacement hysteretic curves,skeleton curve and stiffness degradation curve.Simultane-ously,the ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the structure are analyzed.It is found that the seismic performance of full-size structure is better than the reduced scale model's.By the base shear method,the seismic performance of the full-size portal frame is evaluated.The analysis re-sults indicate:the ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the portal frame are poor,but the bearing capacity of the structure is higher;in the frequent earthquake action,the structure is still in the elastic stage and the safety margin is larger.The research results are of the guiding signifi-cance for working out the related specifications.
