摘要

Abstract

In this paper, layout, section and structural design of RCC gravity dam of Gongguoqiao Hydropower Project are introduced. Based on the successful experience of many projects in China such as Longtan, Baise, Dachaoshan and Mianhuatan Hydropower Projects, etc, RCC (with 2-level aggregate particle sizes:5~20mm, 20~40mm, max.size 40mm) is adopted as the impervious barrier and the grout enriched vibrated concrete, as the impervious structure around the perimeter of the upstream framework.Compared with impervious structure with conventional concrete, this impervious design significantly increases the concrete placement speed of high dams.
