摘要

Abstract

Despite the increasingly wide application of infrared image,the shortage of itself made its application affected, so it was very important to enhance the infrared image. In the conventional image enhancement algorithms,the transform coeffi-cients in all the directional subbands at all the resolutions are enhanced uniformly because they do not consider the energy distri-bution in transform coefficients between directional subbands at different resolution. Therefore,a adaptive enhancement algo-rithm combined with directional subband energy distribution is proposed in this paper. Matlab simulation results show that the al-gorithm can not only enhance the clarity of objectives,but also improve the contrast and visual effect of infrared image.
