A new method of simultaneous switching noise suppression based on complementary split-ring resonator

Abstract
Aiming at the suppression of simultaneous switching noise(SSN)in the high-speed PCBs,a new method to etch the complementary split-ring resonators(CSRR)on the power plane of PCBs is proposed to restrain the diffusion of power fluctu-ation noise between the power supply and ground plane. The structure was simulated with HFSS software based on FEM. The re-sults show that,compared with the ideal reference plane and coplanar electromagnetic band gap(EBG)structure,the power dis-tribution network(PDN)with the CSRR has a capacity of wideband and omni-directional suppression of SSN,and the covering range of stop band is from 0.26 GHz to over 25 GHz when inhibition depth is -40 dB.关键词
