Modeling and control of series resonant converter in discontinuous mode

Abstract
The equivalent circuit of series resonant DC⁃DC converter working in the discontinuous mode(DCM)was estab⁃lished. The small signal transfer function from control to output in discontinuous mode for series resonant converter was obtained by the injection⁃absorption current method. The correctness of the derived transfer function was verified by means of simulation of converter output wave and transfer function open⁃loop output wave. Its open⁃loop amplitude⁃versus⁃frequency characteristic curve and phase⁃frequency characteristic curvewere achieved with SISOTOOL in Matlab. Based on the above results,the com⁃pensation network of the converter control loop was optimized and designed. With the compensator,the system’s cross⁃over fre⁃quency is 4.52 kHz,amplitude margin is 53.3 dB and phase margin is 78.3°. The stability and transient response of the system were improved.关键词
