单端耦合QD-SOA波长转换特性研究

摘要
Abstract
Simulation model of dynamic input signal was established. Which is based on optical field transmission equation and electron transition rate equation,adopted refining segmentation method,four⁃order Runge⁃Kutta method and Newton method. The relationships between conversion optical gain of cross gain modulation wavelength convertor,chirp characteristic,active re⁃gion length,input optical signal power,injection current for single⁃terminal coupled QD⁃SOA are researched. Calculation results show that chirp characteristic can be improved by increasing pump light,reducing probe light and increasing injection current. The conversion optical gain can be enhanced by increasing the length of active region and the reflectivity in rear⁃end face,and the optical gain has little variation with change of injection current.关键词
