Abstract
Objective:To evaluate prognostic factors of epithelial borderline ovarian tumors. Methods:The clinical informations of 71 patients were retrospectively analysed. The clinico-pathological characteristics upon recurrence were evaluated by univariate and multivari-ate analyses. Results:5-year overall survival( OS) and disease free survival rates ( DFS) were 97. 0% and 94. 0%,respectively. Univariate analysis showed that the FIGO stage,microinva-sion,peritoneal implants,excisional type(cystectomy or adnexectomy),rupture and bilaterality were signficantly related to recurrence ( P<0 . 05 ) . COX regression analysis indicated that the excisional type and rupture were independently prognostic factors(P<0. 05). Conclusions:BOT frequently affect younger patients and has an excellent prognosis. The FIGO stage, microinva-sion,peritoneal implants,excisional type and rupture were important factors of recurrence and prognosis. Thorough follow-up is warranted,especially for the patients who have high risks of re-currence.关键词
