Abstract
Objective:To verify the specific expression of HOST2 in epithelial ovarian cancer and test whether HOST2 contribute to biological functions in order to provide theoretical foundation and experimental data,and finially may identify a therapy target of epithelial ovarian cancer. Methods:OVCAR-3 cell line,cultured by 10% FBS RPMI-1640 media,was used to be cytological subjects. mRNA expression was evaluated by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction,and protein expression by Western blot. Changing endogenous level of HOST2 by lipo-some transfection, and then test the effects on biological behaviours of tumor cells. Results:HOST2 specifically high expresses in human epithelial ovarian cancer,but barely expresses in other kinds of solid malignancies. HOST2 participates in migration,invasion and proliferation of ovarian cancer cells. Conclusions:HOST2 high expression acts as cancer-specific events that may be contributed to the new biomarker of epithelial ovarian cancer,and therapeutic approa-ches for patients.关键词
