INFLUENTIAL FACTORS FOR MEDICATION COMPLIANCE OF MIDDLE -AGED AND ELDERLY PATIENTS WITH CAROTID ATHEROSCLEROSIS PLAGUE：A LOGISTIC RE-GRESSION ANALYSIS

Abstract
Objective Investigate the medication compliance and the main risk factors of middle -aged and elderly patients with atherosclerosis, in order to provide theoretic basis for clinical and community medication intervention .Methods From April 2011 to July 2011, a questionnaire survey of medication compliance was conducted among 107 middle-aged and elderly patients, which from three hospitals of Guangzhou and with carotid atherosclerosis plaque in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease by the examination of color doppler ultrasound.And then we analyse the influence of demographic da-ta, medication compliance、health condition and disease congnition medication compliance.Results The patients compliance score mean was (2.2 ±0.4),which was in the medium level.And the cultural level, course of disease, health status, work intensity and the cognitive level of disease were the main factors influencing the compliance, (p﹤0.05).Conclusion The medication compliance in middle-aged and elderly patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease needs to be fur-ther improved.And the drug treatment intervention will be strengthen, and measures should be taken to improve the compli-ance.关键词
