无托槽隐形矫治技术在矫治牙列拥挤中的应用

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of invisible appliance technology without brackets on dental crowding . Methods 23 patients with dental crowding in our hospital from February 2013 to January 2014 were selected and given no brackets invisible treatment.The treatment effects were then observed.Results All 23 cases achieved good results.After treatment, dental crowding was relieved, teeth were arranged in straight rows without gaps or canine and molar relationship remained unchanged.Ten-derness and snapping were not observed in bilateral jaw joints.Significant changes took place in the upper and lower teeth after appli-cation of appliance, and no alveolar bone, root resorption and bone surface type changes were observed.Treatment duration was 10 to 21 months.The average treatment duration of AngleⅠclass was (11.8±2.3) months, that of AngleⅡclass was (18.6±3.4) months, and that of AngleⅢclass was (15.1±2.8) months.After treatment, gingival index, plaque index, sulfides bleeding index, and gingival crevice probing depth all increased, however there was no statistically significant difference compared with that before treatment (p>0.05).Conclusion No bracket invisible appliance technology can effectively relieve dental crowding, which is con-venient, beautiful, safe and effective, and therefore is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
