摘要

Abstract

This paper describes the design of an HPM phase shifter,whose phase is tunnable in a required transmitting distance.Its power capacity is increased by enlarging the narrow side of the rectangular waveguide.Phase-shift factor is changed by varying the length of the wide side of the rectangular waveguide,thus a maximum phase-shift of 180°is achieved at the output port.Experimental results show that insertion loss is about 0.1 dB,voltage standing wave ratio(VSWR)at the input port is less than 1.2 in a frequency range of 9 ~ 10 GHz,and the HPM phase shifter can transmit an HPM of 1 GW with pulse width of 16 ns.
