Determination of Trace Gold in Geochemical Exploration Samples by GFAAS after Preconcentration with Polyurethane Foam

摘要
Abstract
In this work, adsorption features of polyurethane foam for gold in geochemical exploration sample were studied in detail. A method for the determination of trace gold in geoche-mical exploration samples in the la-boratory by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry( GFAAS) after preconcentration with polyurethane foam has been developed. The conditions of experiment were optimized by dicussing the effect of operating parameters of GFAAS, the content of aqua regia and Fe3+, acidity and the time of disengagement. This method has been applied to the determination of trace gold in geological standard reference samples GAu-10b and GAu-8a and the results indicated that it can in good agreement with verified values of precision of 4.98% and 30.23%( RSD,n= 10) , re-spectively. Furthermore, it was also found that the limit of method is 0.499 ng/g.关键词
