骨牵引结合中药治疗老年股骨粗隆间骨折临床体会
Treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fracture by skeletal traction combined with traditional Chinese medicines in senile patients

Abstract
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of skeletal traction combined with oral administration of traditional Chinese medicines on femoral intertrochanteric fracture in senile patients. Methods 25 senile patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture hospitalized in the period from 2008 to 2009 were selected,including 10 cases intolerant to surgery due to poor physical condition and 15 cases refusing to accept surgery;skeletal traction combined with oral administration of traditional Chinese medicines were performed on them;follow-up lasted from 10 months to 24 months with the average of 14 months;an observation of pain,motion degree,walking ability,daily living ability and callus growth in X-ray was made. Results No death or bedsore occurred within hospitalization;fractures in all the patients healed;out of the 25 cases,23 cases showed out good curative effect,who could walk with weight loading in good gait with good function of hip and knee;coxa vara deformity occurred in 2 cases,1 of Type A2 and 1 of Type A3, with the affected limb shortening and lameness;the total rate of excellence reached 92. 0% . Conclusions Skeletal traction combined with oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine is safe and effective in the conservative treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fracture in senile patients.关键词
