摘要
Abstract
This article focuses on the survey and research on the present condition of communication between the teachers and students of Southwest Jiaotong University. According to the study,the authors prove that the teachers and students communicate fairly well in Southwest Jiaotong University and the relationship between them is good. In the meantime,problems have been identified, which include 1 )the tendency towards communicating apathy;2 )decline of effectiveness in classroom communication;3 )few opportunities and limited time for the after-class communication;and 4 )lack of face-to-face communication and in-depth exchange of views. The authors analyze five reasons behind these phenomena which contain the change of the traditional relationship between the teachers and student along with the social development, the teaching modes which fail to meet the individual demands of the students and those of the development at the time,heavy scientific research assignment of the teachers,serious imbalance in the ratio of the students to the teachers,and the imperfect system on the evaluation and management of the teachers. Finally,the authors illustrate that to promote the effective communication between teachers and students the universities shall 1 ) establish a new interactive relationship system between teachers and students,2 )vigorously carry out the development of ethics of the teachers;3 )build a platform for communication and provide necessary support;4 )and deepen the educational reform.关键词
