The Relationship between Resting Heart Rate and Coronary Artery Disease in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome

Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between resting heart rate (RHR) and coronary artery disease of patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM) and metabolic syndrome (MS).Methods 146 patients with T2DM and MS were divided into four groups ac-cording to quartile of RHR:RHR47_67bpm (n=34 );RHR68_72bpm (n=35 );RHR73_77bpm (n=41 );RHR78_98bpm (n=36 ).The Clinical data and the results of selective coronary angiography for each group were observed ,then the relationship between RHR and coronary artery disease was investigated.Results There was a relationship between RHR and coronary artery disease in MS.Con-clusions The relationship between RHR and coronary artery disease in patients with T2DM and MS is definite.关键词
