0.14 THz折叠波导行波管的设计与实验
Design and experiment for 0.14 THz Folded Waveguide Traveling Wave Tubes

Abstract
The dispersion characteristic and coupling impedance of the Folded Waveguide Slow Wave Structure(FWSWS) are analyzed for 0.14 THz Traveling Wave Tube(TWT). The power transmission window and the electron optical system are designed. The beam-wave interaction is simulated. Research on manufacturing process of 0.14 THz TWT is performed including fabrication and welding of the FWSWS and hot test experiment. Under the experiment conditions of electron transmission ratio 74% and voltage 16.3 kV, the maximum saturated output power is 3.1 W and the output frequency is 140.08 GHz. The maximum gain is 27 dB and maximum power half bandwidth is 2.82 GHz.关键词
