汉英语言语序与限定范畴的关系比较
The Comparison between Word Order and Definiteness in Chinese and English
摘要
Abstract
This paper makes a comparison between word order and definiteness in Chinese and English. 900 pairs of Chinese⁃English parallel corpora are collected. It codes for word order and related noun phrases. Paraconc is used to observe the parallel corpora and re⁃trieve data. SPSS is used to make a Chi⁃square test to analyze the distribution of word order and definiteness in Chinese and English. Then, it counts the number of preverbal and post⁃verbal NPs. It is concluded that there is a statistical dependence between word order and definiteness in Chinese while there is not in English.关键词
