Relation between Professional Self-identity, Resilience and Adaptive Performance of Newly Recruited University Teachers

Abstract
By using Professional Self-identity Scale, 14-Item Resilience Scale and the Adaptive Performance Questionnaire to investi-gate 336 newly recruited teachers from 45 Universities in Tianjin in order to test and verify the moderator effect of resilience on the rela-tionship between professional self-identity and adaptive performance of newly recruited university teachers.The result shows that:(1) Newly recruited teachers have high levels of professional self-identity, resilience and adaptive performance.(2) Professional self-iden-tity, resilience and adaptive performance of newly recruited teacher have significant positive correlation.( 3 ) Resilience does not have moderator effect on the relationship between professional self-identity and adaptive performance.(4) Professional self-identity and re-silience are two predictors of adaptive performance, and resilience have a higher contribution rate to adaptive performance.关键词
