摘要
Abstract
Quality of life (QOL) refers to the patients’subjective evaluation upon their health sta-tus. The changes between preoperative and postoperative QOL have become a vital index for evaluating on the surgical outcomes. Albeit multiple different instruments are available for QOL evaluation,no instrument specif-ically designed for cardiac surgery has been established. The 36-item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36 ),as an unspecific instrument,is one of the most widely adopted tools for QOL evaluation following cardiac surgery.A variety of factors affects postoperative QOL,which could be mainly divided into three categories:preoperative health status, operative procedures and postoperative rehabilitation. The improvement of QOL is a gradual process, which requires health education, frequent communication with the patients and relief of postoperative pressure. Thus, health instruction and assistance is of extreme significance for the improvement of QOL. In this paper, relevant literatures were reviewed to deliver the progress and evaluation of QOL after heart surgery,ai-ming to offer clinical evidence to improve postoperative QOL.关键词
