小牛血去蛋白提取物眼用凝胶联合吲哚美辛滴眼液治疗持续性角膜上皮缺损疗效观察
Clinical efficacy of protein-free calf blood extract eye gels combined with indometacin eye drops in the treatment of persistent corneal epithelial defect

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of protein-free calf blood extract eye gels combined with indometacin eye drops in treating persistent corneal epithelial defect (PCED).Methods Sev-enty eight cases with PCED (15 eyes resulting from trauma,16 from surgery,23 from chemical burns,18 from keratitis and 6 from unknown causes)were randomly divided into the treatment (n =39)and control groups (n=39).In the treatment group,patients were treated with protein-free calf blood extract eye gels combined with indometacin eye drops,and those in the control group were administered with by bFGF (basic fibroblast growth factor)eye drops alone.All medication was administered 4 times daily for consecutive 14 d.The parameters including local symptoms of the affected eyes,physical signs and epithelial defect repair were observed every-day during the 1 st week and every other day within the 2nd week.Results In the treatment group,27 cases (69%)had improved visual acuity,significantly higher compared with 13 (33%)in the control group (χ2 =10.06,P <0.01).The overall effective rate of protein-free calf blood extract eye gels combined with indometa-cin eye drops (92.3%)was significantly higher compared with that of bFGF eye drops (69.2%)(χ2 =6.69, P <0.01).No topical stimulation or systemic adverse reactions were noted in the treatment group.Conclu-sions Protein-free calf blood extract eye gels combined with indometacin eye drops is an efficacious and safe treatment of PCED,which is superior to bFGF eye drops.关键词
