The Impact of Government R & D Subsidies on Technical Efficiency of High-tech Industries in China
摘要
Abstract
Previous researches mainly examined the effect of government R&D subsidies on the total output of the high-tech industries , and seldom investigated it from the perspective of input-output efficiency .Based on the high-tech industries data in China during 1996-2010, the paper studies the effect of government R&D subsidies on the high-tech industries using the stochastic frontier approach .The results show that government R&D subsidies have a significantly positive effect on technological efficiency and the enterprise ’ s own investment , firm size and owner-ship structure have varying degrees of impact on the efficiency of government R&D subsidies .It is difficult to ac-quire government R&D subsidies for non-state-owned enterprises .The conclusions of our paper provide a useful reference for policy makers .关键词
