Game Theory-based Knowledge Input Costs Strategies of Supply Chain Knowledge Service Network
摘要
Abstract
In a supply chain knowledge service network , knowledge creation is the most important way for any firm to gain competitive advantages and ensure its sustainable development .This is especially true for companies that have knowledge as their core value .Such firms can input knowledge and its cost through their own invest-ments or sub-contract that task to a specialized knowledge provider .For such companies , the method chosen to do this has a much more direct impact on their development strategy and future investment returns than it does for other firms. In the context of the supply chain knowledge service network , game theory is used to study the knowledge cost inputs .This study assumes the existence of just one knowledge provider and one buyer on the knowledge demand side .Four traditional game models are constructed to analyze the interaction between this pair of actors. They are the classic Nash game theory model , knowledge provider-leading and knowledge demander -leading Stackelberg game theory models , and a cooperative game theory model .These four game theory models yield performance and equilibrium solutions for the supply chain service network , including knowledge cost in-puts, the proportional distributions of inputs between product prices , and final benefits. In particular, the results show that a strategic alliance will take form between providers and demanders of knowledge in the supply chain knowledge network in order to maximize profits .Furthermore , the analysis shows that knowledge input costs are highest in the cooperative game theory model , Thus, for the knowledge provider , the knowledge provider-lead-ing Stackelberg game theory model is clearly the better option .关键词
