Abstract
The development of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) has attracted wide attention in international communi-ty. Nowadays, xMOOCs develop more rapidly and get wide attention in the two main MOOCs including xMOOCs and cMOOCs. Video is the key element of xMOOCs. Are there any experiences that can be learned from the existing videos design of xMOOCs? 20 courses were chosen from four main platforms at home and aboard to analyze the characteristics of their videos based on the framework of the Design of e-Learning Course from nine aspects of easy identification, course description, content distribution, learning objectives, teaching strategies, learners control, content interaction, information presentation, exercises and feedbacks. Some valuable experiences are summarized with the framework of video analysis, which may have implications for future video design in xMOOC.关键词
