Influence of Teachers’ Perception of ICT Usage on Their Creative Design Quality:On the Mediator Role of Creative Self-efficacy of Teachers

Abstract
Information technology has played an increasingly prominent role in class teaching. Teachers as the leading part of teaching should possess the TPACK knowledge of integrating technology knowledge, pedagogical knowledge and content knowledge, and then design the creative teaching plan to support digital generation of learners to change their ways of learning. An investigation of 432 teachers was con ducted using three developed scales. The exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis results indicate that teachers’ creative design quality is predicted by their perception of ICT usage, which also influences their disposition of creative de-sign quality though creative self-efficacy as the mediator. Therefore, schools should try to promote the teachers ’ perception of ICT us-age by various ways, so as to improve their creative self-efficacy, and further to improve their creative design quality to meet the teaching requirements in the information society.关键词
