The Relationship between the Minimum Wage Standard and China Urban Workers Wage：the Influence of the Implementation of the Minimum Wage System
摘要
Abstract
Using 1% national census data of 2005 and city data from 2000⁃2011, the paper analyzes the effect of minimum wage standard on urban worker�s wage. The results show that the minimum wage can increase the wage level of urban workers significantly. Besides, the effect is greater for low educated workers, means that the implementation of this policy does have some protection for the low educated workers. The paper has controlled the possible effect of the implementation of the minimum wage system. The result also shows that the better implementation and the greater effect of minimum wage on urban worker�s wage. The function of minimum wage system depends on not only its own implementation, but also other policies.关键词
