摘要
Abstract
Dye-doped chiral-nematic liquid crystal laser was designed and manufactured,and the laser radiation was researched.The chiral-nematic liquid crystal laser device of planar texture was prepared by doping laser dye PM597 and chiral compound S-81 1 into nematic liquid crystal TEB30A.By using a second harmonic Q-switched Nd∶ YAG pulsed laser (λ= 532 nm)as pumping source,the laser of 571.1,615.5 nm are obtained at the short-wave and long-wave of the photonic band edges.The theory of density of optical state is used to prepare dye-doped cholesteric liquid crystal laser.According to the proper proportion of device component,the curve of density of state varying with the wavelength is simulated.In the device,density of optical state is maximum at the wave of the photonic band edge, threshold is lower and laser radiation is obtained easily.关键词
